The Little Girl

                in the Well

What if your son was being investigated for a murder he didn’t commit?

What if your maternal impulse to protect the child caused detectives to become suspicious and turn against your family, and it tears your family apart, leaving you more vulnerable than before?

What if, after all that’s happened, you make a discovery that changes everything? What if you learn the truth? The investigators have it wrong; it’s your daughter who is responsible.

The Little Girl in the Well is a story about a mother faced with an unthinkable moral quandary: How can she shield one child from being charged with a crime he didn’t commit without giving up the other?
